Assessment Structure
Our Curriculum is divided into two terms and bifurcated into four assessments. Assessment is the key component of our academic process, as it affects many facets of education. It helps us to determine our students’ progress and accordingly modify and plan encompassing interventions to meet the learning objectives. In order to gain a true representation of a student’s understanding, frequent assessments, accompanied by feedback, are planned. These assessments coalesce with CBSE norms.
Saturday Remedial Classes
Saturday Remedial sessions have been launched to help slow learners keep pace with the curriculum taught in the school. School is absolutely not in favour of tuitions for its students and thus extra help is being provided by the school at no extra cost. This is a great opportunity for slow learners who wish to improve their learning capacity and enhance their analytical and logical thinking skills. the child keep abreast with the school curriculum and gain extra help from her/his teacher. The teacher will be sending a note in the almanac and alternatively on the Vidyalaya app for the child to be present for the session.
Field Trips
We, Lotus School, firmly believe that real learning occurs outside the parameters of the classroom; hence school organizes field trips to various places to induce love for nature, to provide direct purposeful experience and evoke passion for their national and social environment. Outstation educational trips are also organized for senior students. To guarantee the safety of the pupils, field trips are organized, vetted, and supervised by school staff when they are inside the boundaries of the city. It is required that the parent properly fill out and sign the consent form. If something goes wrong, the school won’t be held accountable. Outstation educational trips are also organized for senior students.
