HOUSE SYSTEM

The House System forms the basis of all competitions in the school. It promotes team spirit, group loyalty and healthy competition. The school is divided into four houses after the names of the elements of nature. i.e. Agni, Jal, Prithvi and Vayu. Each house is under the charge of House Teachers and Prefects of each house who are responsible for the discipline in that house. House remains unchanged throughout the child’s schooling. This ensures a sense of belonging and provides the child a group to consistently participate from and root for during regular inter–house events held throughout the year. Students compete for the Inter–house competition, demonstrating their talents and skills, and bring glory to their respective houses. The house system in school is a platform to promote interaction between mixed–age peers, to create a school spirit, collaboration and teamwork, and to provide a space for fruitful enjoyment.

Field Trips

We, Lotus School, firmly believe that real learning occurs outside the parameters of the classroom; hence school organizes field trips to various places to induce love for nature, to provide direct purposeful experience and evoke passion for their national and social environment. Outstation educational trips are also organized for senior students. To guarantee the safety of the pupils, field trips are organized, vetted, and supervised by school staff when they are inside the boundaries of the city. It is required that the parent properly fill out and sign the consent form. If something goes wrong, the school won’t be held accountable. Outstation educational trips are also organized for senior students.
